EN 1149/1 electrostatic properties of the protective clothing

This clothing is used if a danger of explosion as well as a fast possibility of in flammability is existing.
The outshell of this special clothing is called antistatic. This material avoids a electrostatic discharge through the dispersion of electrostatic charge. This way the electronic surface resistance on the outshell is reduced and no spark strike will occur.

EN 533 protection against heat and flames – limited flame expansion
The aims of the EN 533 is that protective clothing can not easily be inflamed and that an additional flame expansion will be limited. This way the norm limits the danger of additional disadvantages and injuries because of heat and flames. The clothing should be used at limited flame expansion and a incidental contact with fire. This clothing is no protection against flames or heat!
